Dick Cheney’s advisor made millions by advocating policies that lined his own pockets and the NYT remains silent on the connection. Oh, except it was Joe Biden and not Dick Cheney…
Treat them all the same Grey Lady. It is no wonder that you are losing the trust of millions.

Yet more examples of how the media chooses to ignore only certain stories.

How can we trust the press when they do things like this? Just report the news of corruption wherever it occurs and stop covering for just one party.
September 23, 2009
The Mainstream Media completely missed the boat on investigating ACORN and they were scooped by two 20-somethings so what do they do now? Imagine if they went after Woodward and Bernstein this way (with simple name substitutions):
The proposition seemed outlandish. Two Washington Post reporters, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, would accept information from a secret source who would only be known as “Deep Throat.” This information would be so damaging to president of the United States, it would unleash a scandal that would shake the foundations of the nation’s government to its core.
Woodward and Bernstein deny being beholden to left-wing interests, but admit taking advice in their reporting from left-wing editor Ben Bradlee. They insist that no left-wing organization bankrolled their reporting efforts.
A mainstream media that doesn’t even try to uncover corruption of ANY party is next to worthless when their own party is in power.

Regardless of which party is in power, SOMEONE has to provide the checks and balances..
But when 90% of the media vote for one particular party no one is left to watch the hen house…
It’s sad to say, but American journalism is so heavily dominated by Democratic reporters and editors that, as long as Democrats hold power, we cannot expect our biggest news agencies to look for or report any big story that would cast our leaders in a poor light.
Just consider the muffled peeps of reporting on the Van Jones controversy, ACORN’s corruption and even the Tea Party rallies.
While Democrats rule, if these news stories occur, don’t expect to see them on any front page…

The mainstream media refuses to cover the ACORN corruption and even Jon Stewart takes them to task..
September 14, 2009
Just 29% of Americans say that news organizations generally get the facts straight, while 63% say that news stories are often inaccurate.
News consumers need someone to collect facts and present them. Who is up to it?
